So, I began using Salesforce when with my previous employer - I found that we had problems tracking conversations with clients and general account administration and so implemented Salesforce. Not long after this I was poached by another company and so didn't hear of Salesforce for some time. Then when I decided to go on my own I signed up for a 1 year trial account which sadly they don't offer anymore. It is an absolute lifesaver and my business would not be able to cope without it - for a starter I can log on to salesforce from any machine with a browser and so am not tied to my desk. It manages the entire account process for me. For example, like most mugs I bid for keywords and am charged the GDP of a small country for the clicks by Google. These clickers hit a form on my site which asks them for more information - when they complete this form the lead is entered directly into Salesforce and allocated to the next salesperson automatically using a round robin queue.
